The Cooper Square Hotel EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO PPMG CULTURE OF COLLISION <body>This brand represents the convergence of world-views, natural and cultural histories, ideas and information, trajectories, and movement. David O'Higgins re-envisioned the Cooper Square Hotel as a hub and forum that integrates its guests (global creative and arts professionals) with the physical and cultural environs of New York City. With this in mind, a visual identity based on the concept of convergence was developed to communicate the hotel’s mission. The primary visual identity component, the logo, begins with a square. Which is an obvious graphic representation of the hotel. It is also representative of public spaces that frame social interaction. Two lines intersect across the square as an expression of convergence. Their intersection implies the triangle that is the physical shape of the Cooper Square building, which issituated at the intersection of 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue and the Bowery.
