Interactive Documentary Summit
Posted on December 28th, 2013
In October, I spoke at a conference for the Seattle Interactive Documentary Summit on Non-Fiction Transmedia & Multi-platform Storytelling. I spoke about applying User-Centered Design Practices to storytelling. By it’s very name, Interactive Documentary Storytelling is … interactive. This requires entirely different considerations of the audience experience, compared to the traditional TV or theater audience. My talk was to introduce the central tenants of good user experience design and how to apply that to best support video content.
Want to have me speak at your conference or business? I speak on a variety of subjects:
- User-Centered Design in an Agile Process
- Introduction to Information Architecture for Developers
- Interface Design and Prototyping Techniques
- Tenants of User Experience Design
- Creating a Brand Persona
- Mobile UX Techniques
