CareOregon

The CareOregon project presented a unique challenge - redesigning the website and brand identity for Oregon's largest Medicare and Medicaid provider. Our user research revealed that the existing experience fell short in engaging users and aligning with CareOregon's mission. We took a comprehensive approach, developing robust user personas based on data that showed healthcare providers were a primary audience seeking health news and funding information.

The key was increasing accessibility by improving security measures so users could log in remotely, as analytics showed many were accessing the site from work laptops due to HIPAA constraints. We crafted a content strategy highlighting the "human touch" core to CareOregon's brand story, like the senior exercise group they supported. The visual redesign featured a warm, approachable color palette inspired by the services provided.

Iterative usability testing validated our user-centered design decisions at every stage. The final solution delivered a cohesive, mission-driven experience that resonated with CareOregon's diverse audiences and empowered them to access vital healthcare resources seamlessly.
