About me and contact info

I have over twenty years of experience in interactive design with a background in brand strategy, user research, AI frameworks, and interaction design. My portfolio includes work for AWS, Microsoft, Amazon.com, T-Mobile, Workiva, ABC Television, Trulia, and Stanford University.
I am working on special projects for the University of Washington teaching Agentic AI Frameworks as a Senior Faculty Instructor. For 11 years, I led AI Science, UX Design, and Research teams at AWS for Applied AI Solutions, building next-generation Agentic AI solutions across healthcare, life sciences, autonomous mobility, smart home, robotics, and merchant experience platforms.
I am currently leading a project leveraging Open Source AI Intelligence to combat misinformation and strengthening the integrity of media and news at the University of Washington. There I teach in the Informatics School and Masters of Communication in Digital Media program, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Interactive Design, and Product Strategy. I'm passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers and sharing practical insights to create the next generation of AI-enabled experiences.
My approach combines strategic thinking with hands-on design execution, always keeping the user at the center. I believe great design happens at the intersection of business goals, technical constraints, and human needs.
