Township 110 presented a compelling challenge - crafting a brand identity that would resonate authentically with their target audience of outdoor enthusiasts and retirees, while transparently aligning with their environmental values. Our approach focused on distilling the essence of their offering through a bold yet grounded logomark and tagline that leaned into the connection with nature and open spaces.
Through in-depth user research and stakeholder workshops, we identified key insights that informed the strategic direction. Outdoor lovers craved a sense of escape and rejuvenation, while retirees sought a low-maintenance community that fostered an active lifestyle. Both groups placed a premium on sustainability and environmental stewardship. With these insights, we developed a visual identity system and messaging framework that evoked a harmonious balance between rugged adventure and serene living.
The final brandmark utilized a stylized "110" numeral nestled into an abstract landscape, evoking the boundless open spaces surrounding the community. The energetic yet approachable tagline "Find Your Trailhead" spoke to both the active outdoor spirit and the journey of transitioning into this new chapter of life. Since launch, the Township 110 brand has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback and driven a 25% increase in leads from their target personas.
