This year I had the fortunate opportunity to have a few exceptional presenters for my classes I teach at the University of Washington.
The first is Lead Information Architect at Microsoft for Windows Azure, Joel Williams who spoke with my Information Architecture class in the Informatics School, providing career advice and insights working for the world’s largest software company.
For my Web Strategy class in the Masters in Communication Digital Media program (MCDM), we had as a guest lecturer Skyping in from Australia, Donna Spencer, author of A Practical Guide to Information Architecture. She had great insights on how to stay innovative while not being gratuitous and the thought process for building strong mobile apps.
